Another year another L4D.

This time around theres new infected, new weapons, and even melee weapons for those who like to get up close and personal.

OR

For those who think its cool to run off, slaying zombies then get taken out by a hunter.

There are more campaigns, 5 this time. each can take from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on difficulty, even longer when playing realism and skill level really.

Ive noticed alot of people purchased L4D2 without having played the first, which while it shouldnt be an issue, and nothing i can complain about it is a bit annoying when they run off or slow down the team.

The game is alot harder now, common infected pose more of a threat and the special infected hit much harder.

This leads up to Versus mode and the new mode scavenge.

Versus mode is the same as in the first game, infected vs survivors, only now, with the new specials, survivors will have a very tough time, ive been killed in less than 10 seconds by a charger pounding me into spitter goo.

Scavenge on the other hand, is a bit different, survivors have to gather up cans of gas in order to win. it changes it up and provides some new ways to play.

Survival mode is back, and still very difficult.

Whats the most interesting is Realism mode, which removes the outlining from objects and players must be much closer to pick up objects. the infected do much more damage and only take damage if shot in the head. its very challenging.

In all, im surprised at how good it came out, and now im just waiting for new content, possibly the survivors from the first?

4/5 only because of some issues with lag, and the survivor AI being very stupid this time around. its frustrating when playing alone.
